The telework trend is irreversible. If remote communications are accepted more widely, local community revitalization will start, allowing those working for businesses based in urban zones to inhabit local areas.

Same here, been teleworking for 15 years now and never looked back. Can and travel and it never interferes with work, family or quality time.

I got to telework once in my career. It was great: I wasn't being spied on or "monitored", I didn't have to move the mouse every 5 minutes to show that "I'm still there". I'd hit refresh every few minutes to see if new tickets had reached our queue and checked email to see if there was anything else to take care of.

Would love to go back to that life.
