The Tourism Agency wants to share disaster information using various media, such as apps and social media, so that international visitors can feel safe while they enjoy their stay in Japan.

Akira Takano, a senior official of the Tourism Agency in charge of foreign visitors' safety. The agency will expand its disaster information app "Safety tips" to include 14 languages by the end of March next year. The languages are Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Tagalog and Nepali, Khmer, Burmese and Mongolian.

I wish he would go into detail about the breakdown of the information to expect. Just sounds like vague assuredness.
