quote of the day
The world should not be naive about North Korea's charm offensive over the Olympics. It is not the time to ease pressure, or to reward North Korea. The fact that North Korea is engaging in dialogue could be interpreted as proof that the sanctions are working.

Agreed.

Or proof that NK got what it wanted - the development of nuclear weapons and an ICBM program which it won't give up no matter what - and now it can sit back and play " now we've got the business done and understood, let's be friends".
They win by default. Unless of course they're lying and planning to attack Japan.

100% agree, this is all a farcical cover for time to finetune their nuke program. Now is the time to squeeze them more than ever

the ROK president is from NK with ties to NK still. Just rewarding the NK for their hard effort. Screw the US.

U.S. War With North Korea More Likely Because South Korea Is 'Undercutting' Trump, Lindsey Graham Claims
Toasted Heretic
Maybe the US et al should bombard the DPRK with charm and open dialogue rather than threats and sanctions.

US and Japan should never be forgiven for what they did to Korea in the past - can dish it out but can't take it.

The US will not allow South Korea and North Korea to have any relations. It is by exaggerating the threat of North Korea that the US able to maintain its bases in both Japan and South Korea and is able to insist that both Japan and South Korea buy US arms. The next step will be that Australia will have US nuclear missile in Australia. When will the world wake up to US dictatorship? Both Australia and Japan have PMs that are commanded by Washington.

I hope everyone that is believing in North Korea's sincerity are right, I really do. Unfortunately, from past personal experience while stationed on the peninsula, I am confident that they are not. Turn your back on them at your own peril.
