quote of the day
There are emerging signs of an administration entering its final stage. The risk of Abe losing his grip on power and the LDP will increase if public support remains low, leaving him with no choice but to focus on maintaining the status quo. The coronavirus outbreak obviously pulled the trigger. He can neither quit nor call an election while support ratings are low. Foreign diplomacy is not an option due to the virus. So he cannot do anything unless the pandemic ends.

”Prime Minister Shinzo Abe faces a turning point due to the coronavirus and political scandals.”
Due to coronavirus? This problem is everywhere and I don't think PM Abe was affected of that, 100% political scandals I understand.

The media would have all 'n' sundry believe that Abe government is akin to some political proverbial dieing swan. Abe has choked and smothered most of his own LDP contenders for office.
I could run through a list. But what would be the point.
The structure that defines the economy, this could be a decisive element.
Poverty will decide Abe Government future.

So the take away is: Abe was doing fine then all of a sudden the mean ole virus and big meanies making up scandals wrecked his perfect record.
Just when you thought the gaslighting here couldn't get worse.
