quote of the day

There are still crew testing positive on the ship, yet people are being allowed to disembark - and told it's okay to use public transportation to get home, then told by the health ministry to avoid using public transportation after they are home.

This is the kind of thing that doctor was talking about before they shut him up. The total incompetence of bureaucracy. Everything has to be decided by committee.

I am sorry but this is the most ridiculous and asinine thing I have ever heard! Obviously whoever is in charge of this in Japan as no medical training.

So they really believe the virus will wait until the passengers get home before becoming infectious?! I am not criticizing the country of Japan but I am criticizing the fools who made this decision. I have never heard anything so stupid in my life!!!

This is not hard; if the people will not be further quarantined then transport them home and tell them to stay there and follow up to ensure they do.

Well, as usual Japan will reap what it sows and blame it on other countries

No one is responsible... people just acting in self interest. "(No one's picking you up?) Just take public transit now (gtfa) but once you're home don't take public transit (and stay there)"

This is absolutely crazy! It's like saying you can drink bleach, just don't drink it after you've finished the first glass!

Exactly!

This is absolutely crazy!

Yup. First you incubate them- then let them out into the public with no supervision. What could go wrong???
