And this is why neither Abe nor anyone else from the LDP will attend a Q&A session at the Foreign Correspondents Club. They will hit them with tough questions and not let them skate by. This countries media, is really pathetic when it comes to politics. They are great at reporting about idols and characters, but nothing that really would have any effect on our lives!

How come outsiders can see right thorugh Japanese politicians, and Abe in particular, but Japanese people allow themselves to be played like this -- for decades now.

It's casino political play making. A roll of the dice, a turn of a card? If it is, Abe and the LDP have the odds stacked in there favour. This Election has been calculated to achieve a purpose. I don't think a rabbit will be appearing out of the hat.

"Broadly unpopular" agenda which the opposition party had addressed so it should be no brainer that Abe would lose this election badly.
