Hiroshi Ashizaki, an author who writes about Internet and game addiction, commenting on a 27-year-old man who "married" a videogame character in the Nintendo DS game called "Love Plus." In probably the first human-to-avatar union, the man -- clad in a white tux -- married the character in front of some friends and web users watching the ceremony live online. (CNN)

I think this is really sad, that this guy is so detached from society that he has to marry an imaginary woman. And even more sad is the fact that there are a lot of guys like this in Japan!!!!
