aint that the truth, just did my taxes and again this year I paid WAY more taxes than over 70% of J-companies because thats how many pretty much operate year in year out & hardly if ever pay ANY income tax

Only a Bloomberg columnist would put "deregulate the economy" first. Deregulation is no virtue by itself.

Also TEPCO is not incompetent. The decision to build any nuclear reactor in an earthquake-prone region like Japan is incompetent. Also "safer" energy sources are wind and solar power. Japan should just make more use of these homegrown natural resources.
