Noriaki Takahide, a spokesman for of the Shibuya Scramble Square, which will be the highest building in the area when it opens on Nov 1. It's now being constructed right above Shibuya Station.

I'm loving these massive buildings springing up in Shibuya over the past few years. It's changing the landscape, and keeping Tokyo a truly modern city.

@reckless: Shibuya station has been "under construction" the entire 10 years I have lived in Tokyo

More like 30 years! Have never known it to be free of scaffolding and barriers.
