quote of the day

Wearing condoms cannot completely prevent transmission. People who perform sexual acts with multiple individuals should often take tests, and those who have one single partner are advised to take the tests when they change their partner, along with the other party.

This is common sense....or at least it should be. Are there actually people out there who think putting on a rubber is 100% foolproof against STDs and pregnancy?

Everyone should get tested just like Omicron!

Have to admit, coming to Japan, the amount of ladies who did not insist on, suggest, or even bring up protection of any kind while having sex was very high.

I hardly recall even 1-2 that mentioned anything to me at all.

It should be common sense, but it isn't always. Especially for people in the 'heat of the moment', as it were. Never hurts to have a reminder of proper actions, it might help remind a few people to double check.

In two decades here, I can count on one hand the number of Japanese girls who have asked me to wear a condom. Incredible. They really seem to have no idea.

Yeah it really is, and you will get similar responses from Japanese ladies and men as well.

I guess some people don’t wanna hear that? Lol

And why should this only be the responsibility for the women. You can responsibility as well. But maybe you should test yourself since STDs and HIV in Japan is pretty high.

Don’t be passive aggressive man.

I’m Japanese American and have lived in 6 continents and was making a comment based on what David and I were recollecting based on experiences. We weren’t rude, and neither do you need to suggest medical checks for me either.

Check yourself my friend.

Nothing wrong with getting tested if you have had multiple partners, and even if you were playing it safe. Always good to be sure, for everyone's benefit. Of course, if you're gambling with things by NOT being safe, and especially with multiple partners, then ou should definitely be tested.

My play days are past, and I didn't play it very safe. That said, there's not much in the way of protection if you are having uninhibited sex. Condoms are pretty good at preventing pregnancy, but STDs are just a risk one takes unless they stick to the missionary method only. If you prefer to have fun, just get tested sometimes. Seems reasonable advice. Probably better than my doctor friend who used to do a couple days of antibiotics whenever he got laid - just in case.
