quote of the day

While demand for long-distance bus services is rising with the surge in foreign tourists, a shortage of drivers, whose ranks are already aging, will increase the risk of accidents.

"...will increase the risk of accidents.." Oh? better get written consent from the passengers that they travel on their own risk.

Being a bus driver in Japan pays handsomely, ask one or inquire it's a fact.

Train a few more drivers and pay them a bit more. I don't see the problem.

It's not the shortage of drivers that increased the risk, it's poor decisions by the individual drivers. If you watched the footage of the bus accident, the guy was going too fast. The bus was up on two wheels going around a curve.
