Teams from South Africa had reportedly disliked the long trips to Tokyo and Singapore for the Sunwolves' home games.

What about the long trips to Arg, NZ and oz? Travel has always been an issue in SR, not much you can do about it (or just play domestic footy & earn less like they do in other sports/countries i.e euro leagues, nba, nrl, afl etc).

Sunwolves got shafted by sanzaar from the start.

It was a failed experiment. SR needs to return to a round robin and means fewer teams. Last in, first out. Plus the sunwolves are like a foreign entity with some token Japanese players... who is it actually helping?
