The eligibility rules for international rugby are ridiculous. They should seriously just drop the names of the teams and call them the “red team” for Wales, “Black team” for New Zealand and “International 15” for Japan...... If you are Samoan, you should be playing for Samoa and no other team!

But what makes a person Samoan? And if that can be defined, can that person not also be Welsh or Japanese?
