The whole thing was badly mismanaged by RA and this is the result. How can they focus on the imminent World Cup with this sideshow going on?

This is what happens when governments, sports and other governing bodies punish people merely for saying something.

I hope Israel Folau wins his case and on behalf of us all teaches the speech police a lesson.

Um, he hasn't been prosecuted for his views.

There are things we legally consider acceptable/unacceptable, and things we societally consider acceptable/unacceptable.

What he did was, and should be, protected legally. He hasn't been prosecuted for his speech.

But from a societal perspective, his comments weren't appropriate. And society has let him know this.

Why do you think you know better than society?
