The men's scaled-down tennis has been affected too. One has been infected and others have been travelling all over Europe.

With that many cases among players and staff, and the number of cases spiking again in a lot of states, I don't see how MLB is going to have any season this year.

For the health of all concerned—the players, coaches, umpires, clubhouse staffs, the broadcast crews, the media—cancel the season.

No. There is a clause in the collective bargaining agreement which gives MLB the right to suspend player contracts (including their pay) when games are cancelled due to a national emergency. Basically until play resumes, the players don't get paid.

Bye bye, 2020 MLB season. And for the second time in my life, no World Series. This is so disappointing.
