Surely Khabib will be stripped of his title and banned from the ufc for a while (12 months?).
Wasn't a fan, one of Khabib's crew.
Certainly not condoning what the Russian & his team did but reckon McGregor's pre fight trash-talk went too far/ too personal this week. Not a great day for mma and the ufc (although Dereck Lewis' k.o & post fight interview were absolute gold!)

Wow, even Mike Tyson tweeted that the riot was worse than from his own fight (against Holyfield)

I'm not exactly a fan of McGregor's antics and trash talking. But it's purely box office and sells pay per view. But I have never seen a fighters corner men, MMA or boxing, attack an opponent who has just been beaten, AFTER a fight! That has to stop here and Dana White will be under huge pressure to clean up his sport.
To hand it to McGregor he always shakes hands after a fight. I don't think this is the last we hear of this.

Would like to point out that the fighting inside the octagon after the match was started by McGregor throwing a blind side sucker punch into the back of the 'fan' (actually a member of Nurmagomedev's corner) who retaliated with those punches.
You'd think that the instigator of that fight would have faced arrest, too, but seems American police preferred to arrest only Russians, just as the American sports federation decided that only the Russian would have his purse withheld when both fighters started after bout fights.
PS, if JT is interested RT has the video footage.

Great entertainment in and out of the Octagon , blasphemous language from both sides, love it ... and nobody dies. they both win ... Money.

Strip the Russian of the title, that is unsportsmanlike behaviour by his crew. Would also make for good marketing if you want to spin it.

Inside the ring, it's fair game. But once ya take it outside the ring and endanger innocent spectators, that's when ya get in trouble with the authorities
