I think hosting it in 2022 would be more appropriate. They used to host the Summer and Winter Olympics in the same year before they changed it in the 90's. Keep Paris for 2024. Not that big a deal if you have an Olympics 2 years apart. 2024 would mean many athletes would have lost their chance. Also, what to do about the "Athletes' Village" condo problem? Do the Olympics really need an Athletes village? Can't the athletes just stay in hotels? Oh, I guess there is that security problem. No one wants another Munich. What a headache this all is.
