"He's a fighter."

That's a big reason why some of us are his fans :)

Well, he will certainly not make it an easy ride for Djokovic.

Novak thought bubble: "Will this guy just not give up already?!"

The Serb won last year in the quarterfinal at Wimbledon 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 and the U.S. Open semifinal 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 on his way to lifting the titles.

Doesn’t sound like he played a fighter in those games.

Sounds like Djokovic sent him packing with pretty minimal fuss.

Nishikori is a likable player and is easy to cheer for. He typically goes about things with the right kind of attitude, and that endears him well to tennis fans from any country.

Jimizo: Sounds like Djokovic sent him packing with pretty minimal fuss.

As he does to most players! Djovokic has been playing at a legendary level.

Don't worry, Nishikori is about as effective as Osaka.

robotxparty. Don't worry, Nishikori is about as effective as Osaka.

I hope Naomi-chan will learn from Nishikori-san's a positive attitude and hard working ethic like Nishikori-san.

Men ATP tour was a lot tougher than women WTA tour. Without hard working, Kei Nishikori-san ranking will be outside 100.

Naomi-chan was just only 21 - year old and she already won one grand slam and one WTA title in her name.

Not many women players can serve 190km/hr service, passing shot and big forehand return like Naomi-chan. She is baseline player like Nishikori-san and Djokovic but she wasn't eager to go the net.

She can be big name in women tennis and No 1 rank in the world in the future if she doesn't waste her talent.
