I thought the surname Korda sounded familiar. I remember his dad as tall, lanky and pasty. I hope he doesn't follow in his father's footsteps and go into doping.

Ha, my memories of Petr Korda as the same, Pukey2.

I didn't see this match of Nishikori's, but I saw his first round match. He didn't seem like his fitness was quite where it needs to be, which is understandable after a long absence and then a bout of Covid. He battled a tough third-set tie break victory, and had no gas left in the tank for the fourth set and got beaten badly (1-6 I think?). Then he regained his composure and took the fifth set. So, seeing that he went back-to-back 5-setters in the first two rounds, I wonder if he just didn't get the energy to get through yet again. Hopefully his fitness improves as he gains more match experience.
