Generally agreed that this has to be a 'good' idea, even as it detracts from the rawness and excitement of the sport.

Not mentioned though, either in the article or in the chart, is the fact that spectators have been disappointed, no longer able to which helmet colour (as the cars zoom past) showing which of the two team drivers might be at the wheel. The driver is now buried down inside the cockpit. There was some talk of indicating this by changing the colour of the surrounding halo itself... perhaps the issue will arise again in Australia this weekend.

In the meantime Ferrari are again up to 'ungentlemanly' conduct, according to MacLaren, breaking an all-team agreement not to hire ex FIA staff for a period of at least 12 months after they have quit.
