Nor is it a very diverse 2d crowd.

Really? They filled up the stadium with cardboard?

Interesting idea. And if there’s crowd background noise, like in the German soccer games as of late, this could give it a more realistic feel. In fact it will give it a more realistic deal, which was the whole point of doing this in the first place.

Was nice to watch meaningful games tonight.
Hopefully, fans will be back soon.

What a colossal waste of paper and later no doubt a colossal amount of trash.

And people complained about dolls? This is just plain creepy. Why do players need this at all? No one honestly believes this makes an audience.

As I get older, the more this type of disregard for resources (paper, plastic or whatever) makes me feel sick to my stomach. It's up there with plastic bags for bananas.

Adults who need heroes always make me uncomfortable.

One fan made an effort to write a sign in English, then the panel was printed backwards. Or is AMAHOKOY the name of a player?
Mocheake
I liked the "fans" at that Korean game better.

Let’s keep up morale, within Japan!! Ffs!

The cardboard cut outs of each audience member would make more sense if cameras were attached at their respective "eye" levels and a private YouTube channel for the respective customer to watch on their TV at home from where they were sitting. Oh, and stadium-paid delivery drivers asking if the home-bound customer wants a drink or snack.

Let's home the "no spitting" continues into the future

Those photo panels are not social distancing.

It is entirely possible that I will not be in attendance...but everyone please enjoy Yakyuu! (It resembles baseball...)

Restart of Japan's popular sports will distract Japanese public eyes from Japan's problematic Abe government with many scandal.

I am sure that all those panels are fully recyclable. Ah no...

That's so stupid.
