Pretty much expected it when he travel in Florida

He lives in Florida since he's 14 !

He only travels to Japan for filming commercials and some exhibition matches.

Pro athletes can get Covid too. The big difference is that they constantly exercise and have a healthy diet.

We all should be focusing on improving our fitness and keeping off excess weight. This will go a long way to protecting our bodies from the potential devastating symptoms.

I am so sick of seeing his Uber Eats ads (and Yonekura Ryoko's screeching 'Takasugiru!!!!' ad) everytime damn time I watch a video on Youtube.

I am sick of Youtube ads period.

Hope he gets well soon. At this rate, Djokovic is going to win the US Open without lifting a racket unless he too gets the virus again. They should just cancel it. Let's see how Roland Garros goes (but at this rate, France isn't go to fare well either).

He'll likely be fine - all the best to him. He's young and super-fit, and just about as low on the totem pole of risk groups as you can get.

All he needs to do is do what he can to ensure he doesn't spread it so someone at much higher risk of getting sick.

I think everywhere in the states you are at a very high risk to catch the Virus.

Not like in Japan.

I feel safe in Japan!

Comparing a trawler with a fishing hook and not knowing the difference.

Lol.

Too bad. Otherwise this would have been his year!

Get well soon. Pray for a quick recovery. Pretty much expected it when he travel in Florida. Guess even with all the precaution, it was still unavoidable.

@gakinotsukai, i know. But he travel back to Florida in march because of the increasing virus outbreak. With how the virus is rampant in the US and him wanting to participate in the tournament was eventually gonna lead to this is all i am saying.

Why aren't you guys already using adblocker? I've been using it as a free add on for chrome for years and don't need to sit through a single ad on youtube.

Get well soon, Kei-chan. With Covid-19 rampant all across the US, this isnt a shock.

he did not say what his plans are for the Grand Slam tournament that begins Aug 31.

His "plans" are not relevant. He is officially out of the Major.

I am not surprised. Nishikori lives in the states not in Japan.

Athletes are not immune, obviously, and I hope he gets well soon and despite being only 31 in rank, that he can play in the Grand Slam event.
