NBA suspends season until further notice, over coronavirus

Never seen anything like this before in my life.

Gobert was an idiot for making fun of the NBA's coronavirus stance and going around touching reporter's and their microphones.

Now that he's tested positive, he may very well have spread the virus as part of his stupid stunt.

And soon MLB will so the same, and then others will follow which is of course the responsible thing to do. Considering all this and with infection/mortality rate going up daily, its difficult to see how the olympics will go ahead.

I cried when I heard this and I really hope that the season will come back at a later date. My Lakers have finally been contenders again after several seasons and I have been enjoying this season.

This is just the beginning. Who gives a crap about not getting to go to a sports game - start worrying about not getting the treatment you need in a Hospital because they're so full that they're only treating cases with the best chance of survival and letting the rest go...

International tennis tournaments and UEFA Champions League also postponed

The NCAA has cancelled all basketball conference tournaments

People don't wanna spread the ultra-contagious virus that has yet no cure because they know young kids and they know old folks around them who would be more vulnerable - not to mention they themselves don't want to be quarantined for at least 2 weeks with no job and no one to hang out with
