Congratulations to both sets of drivers in this 1 - 2 finish. Either car was capable of taking the victory, the drivers all showed why they were chosen by Toyota, and Lady Luck stayed with them. I see that the sport is working on evolving bio-fuels such as Total's Excellium, to cut CO2 drastically.

Alpine's car, and the two Glinckenhaus vehicles were pretty consistent and quick. The familiar Audi and Porsche beasts of former years were missing, so it will be great to see them and Ferrari back in fierce contention at the top very soon. Watch this space.

And Kamui deserves this time in the limelight!!!
