Good stuff, Maji. Thank you.

Yes, I agree, it would be nice if they posted a schedule when the games will be televised in Japan!
papigiulio
@smithinjapan: will be broadcasted on NHK BS1

Why would they think it was rightfully theirs? I would think Japan might believe the Olympics gold was rightfully theirs after having 2 clear PKs denied.
papigiulio
Would be nice to have a table of Japanese times :)
Anyway getting exciting now. My bets are US vs Germany and Japan vs England half finals and then perhaps a Germany - Japan final? would be great.

You can see all the matches on the internet, check out the streaming sites.

I want to see US v. Japan in the final. Rubber Match. I'm sure the women of Team USA want what they thought was rightfully theirs in 2011. However, Nadeshiko Japan winning in 2011 was a wonderful thing to have happen so soon after the Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami. The Nadeshiko showed how formidable they were last night against Netherlands. US v. China should be a great match, as will be Japan vs. Australia. Then it's a matter of finding out who prevails between Germany and France, and England and Canada. But I'm pretty sure that the rest of the board will be playing for third place.

Likewise - except I'm Australian! The quarters will have to do

Would like to see a USA-Japan rematch. Nadeshiko to defend the title !

Canada vs Japan on Canada Day would be awesome!

I remember the USA-Japan game and that dreadful pass right in front of the net. Still can't believe someone with so much talent would make such a bad play.
smithinjapan
You can ind the times on the FIFA site as well, and convert t your time zone. Won't tell you if and what channel broadcast, though. At the very least I would think Japan's game will be.

Come on England and Japan !! it's gonna be interesting in our house if England play Japan in the Semis....given the fact I am English and the missis Japanese !!

Likewise ... thanks for the schedules Maji. If I have no stations' listings on hand, I'll just keep switching around channels until I find something. Otherwise, just follow them on the internet. Winning predictions next round: Germany, U.S.A., Japan, Canada. Then ... Germany and Canada. Then ... the final should be a great game with the invaders overtaking the hometown gals ...
SuperLib
Now all they need is a DeLorean!
The games should be fun. I'm hoping the U.S. does well but we have to step up our game. Pun intended.

Don't write Australia off - that's when they are at their best
Aussieboy
It's Australia to win it all and it's not even close.

That's why I said I hope I'm wrong about Japan. While it would be nice to see that smug smile wiped of Sasaki's face (the coach who calls himself "Japan's Spielberg"), I said it because I want to see the Aussies go through for a change.
papigiulio: "@smithinjapan: will be broadcasted on NHK BS1"
Thanks, but I won't be able to watch in real time. I'll just have to check one of the sites for score through the match if I can.
smithinjapan
I predict semis: Germany, US, Japan, England. Hope I'm wrong with Japan and England.
nostromo
hope Australia knock Japan out - they have become just a little too arrogant recently...
