Acuna hits another leadoff homer as Braves beat Marlins 10-6

The 20-year-old Acuna homered on Miami's first pitch for the second straight night and became the first player to hit a leadoff homer in three consecutive games since Baltimore's Brady Anderson went deep in four straight in 1996. On Monday, he became the fourth player in major league history to hit leadoff homers in both games of a doubleheader.

The youth surge in MLB continues. At only 20 years old, Acuna is the youngest to hit leadoff homer in 3 straight games, to hit HR in 5 straight games, and to hit 8 HRs in 8 games. And for those no older than 21, the fewest games (67) to hit 19 career HRs, passing the next closest being Willie Mays and Jackie Robinson (both 17 HRs in 67 games).
