A great rugby player (from a Wallabies supporter)

fxgai - that was against Ireland I believe. Great game we won that in OT.
McCaw is the best and though he didn't have the global impact of Jonah Lomu he brought the All Blacks back to all NZ'ers.
All the best Richie and thank you!

Good thing about being a famous All Blacks or rugby player is that you can go on vacation in many countries and not be recognized and enjoy the trip in peace. Sort of like Robbie Williams' vacations in the U.S.

A legend. The greatest thing about McCaw for me is his literal never-say-die, neve-give-up attitude. It's his leadership that made him so valuable.
There was a game a couple of years back when time was up on the clock. The All Blacks were on their goal line, but just got awarded a penalty. I recall the scores were tied.
With no time left, you're watching and expecting them to kick the ball to touch and settle for a hard-earned draw.
But No. McCaw instead calls a scrum. The All Blacks win their scrum feed, and then slug their way up the length of the field, and score to win the match. It's not like he did it all himself. But that leadership alone can trigger events that produce results.
Lots of orgnizations could surely learn a lot of valuable nuggets of gold by studying McCaw's All Blacks.
