Tough match NZ finally started a match with points on the board to defend. Heftier forward pack absorbed the SA defense and provided the backs somewhat better ball. A win at Joburg, is worth a lot.

Excellent, as it should be..

A great match, and both teams played some awesome rugby.

The All Blacks finally made some of the changes the fans have been calling for all year (in the front row and at 10) and here's the result - a win over the world champions at their so-called 'fortress.' If they make a few more of those changes across the rest of the team, and in the coaching box, they could go even better.

That said, I'm happy Foster, Cane and co. can enjoy at least a couple of days with the pressure off.

I thought the ref was awful but at least he was fair in his awfulness. He missed a lot from both sides. Although as an ABs supporter, I'm contractually obligated to say he missed more on the South African side.
