Nice to see the A's but love seeing Ichiro here. Went to see the game last night. His hands are not as quick as they used to be and the barrel of the bat is definitely slower through the strike zone, It is obvious his better days as a hitter are behind him.

On the other hand, the throw from right field to 3rd was fantastic. Right on line and chest high. Was very cool to watch the reaction of the players on both teams. Was fun to watch a future hall of famer!

Haniger's home run to left field was a "seed". Was funny to listen to his post game interview where he said he did not know if he hit a home run. If he says so.....he must have been the only one in the ballpark that did not realize so. The Giants' left fielder did not even move. Nice game by the Giants but their pitchers seemed to forget that the power of the hitters in the MLB is a bit different than what they face in Japan.

Yes, his two outs on defense were the highlight of the game for sure. Too bad he couldn't connect with a hit instead of that popup. Kinda disappointed in the crowd too. The atmosphere in last year's MLB Allstars vs Japan Samurai was electric by comparison!
