The whole 'sport' makes me feel uneasy.

I've seen the picture. It doesn't look at all like he just sat on the nearest thing 'without thinking' in order to take his phone call. He's sat astride the body, with two fingers raised in a peace sign and a grin on his face; he's clearly posing.

Obviously he does not belong anywhere around animals.

What upsets me more however, is the matter-of-fact way in which the death of the animal - died of a heart attack after a training run - is described and passed over, as if it were something that happened every day.

The beast can't cut the training? It's expendable.

An animal being pushed above and beyond its capabilities, even to the point of death, should be a major incident, a scandal in itself. Yet we would never have heard of it if it were not for this person literally adding insult to injury.

Far too many animals are sacrificed in the name of so-called sport. It should all be banned.
