Compassion as a default position from which to consider others, whatever their circumstances, has always been a desirable character trait. Derision and scorn, not so much.

One of the finest athletes to take the court. When she is on, she is unbeatable. Hoping she succeeds at the Australian Open 2022!

Wish her luck and a speedy recovery and hope she puts in a good show at the AO. But I can't help but think she sacked her best coach while she was at her best. She seemed like she would hold onto that #1 spot for a long time. Then she sacked the coach that got her there, been downhill since. Unfortunately, I think the stress got to her. Shame she is so good to watch and has so much going for her. I really want to see her at her best again. Would love to see her and Ash Barty in the final. She is great too. Good luck girls.

I used to like her innocence but recently I don’t care for her at all. She became very loopy in all aspects and seems to have lost all flare cuteness and brilliance and makes me lose interest in Tennis,

I could easily forget about her. People who don’t follow tennis especially could care less.

With her millions and fame, she doesn't need to play if she doesn't want to. I, like many of you, don't have that luxury. Maybe she'll take off for not being able to choose her right tennis outfit next time.

I am not a fan of her off court antics but to be honest faking injury and pulling out of minor warm up competitions after a few games isn't unusual. Many of the top players do this. They will have told the organizers when they negotiated the attendance fee.

Same. All the hype concerning her is already gone i think. But to be fair most athletes are quickly forgotten here anyway. We mostly care about baseball more.
