I like him, but he is too weak for Manchester United, he couldn't even stand against amateurs from 3rd league. Manchester United has the worst players since few decades, maybe even in history, their current level is below premier league, so if Kagawa can't be a star in such weak team where can he?

Shinji KNEW it was time to get off... 4-0! LOL. Beautiful day!

For the sake of his career, better to move to a team where he can play regularly. As professional athletes, very difficult to improve when you are not playing.

He should move on. Man U are really appalling and have treated him badly. Plus not like they are going to be contenders anytime soon. 4-0? looks like Fergie was an even better manager than we gave him credit for.

Should have stayed in the Bundesliga where he was a playing really good and was well liked by the German fans.

They only wanted him, so Japanese TV channels would buy the rights to show the games, cold hard cash notting else. He should have stayed in Germany as he was doing a lot better there.

Man U are throwing cash around like crazy trying to get back into the top 4. Van Gaal will be out the door if he doesn't deliver this in his first season ( the bookies have Man U to finish 5th ). Kagawa is best off playing regularly at a club with stability, not trying to get a place in one desperately trying to halt its decline. I'm sure he regrets the move from Germany now that the Ferguson era is over.

Well, he might want to move to a team that isn't going to get relegated, so everyone wins.

4-0 to the mighty Milton Keynes Dons. From the 3rd tier of English footy.

That's just beautiful.

Keep dreaming. You know what's sad though? A relegated United would still fill Old Trafford on any match day while City will continue to be unable to fill their 45,000 seats on a Champions League night.

'A relegated United would still fill Old Trafford on any match day'

What? Roy Keane famously and accurately pointed out that Man U have a hardcore of loyal fans while Old Trafford is a library when they are not hitting the heights. Those who jumped on the bandwagon ( a measure of success ) would be out of there in a flash if Man U went down. Many Man U fans look at the 'prawn sandwich' brigade in the same way. I recommend a visit to Old Trafford.

Really? It just so happens that Manchester City is a club quite well known for the loyalty of it's supporters - through far more thin than thick. Right down to the 3rd tier of the English Game.

That's the Manchester City I know and remember so well. Proven support. Yours in merely a hypothetical, though the way they are going, we might know soon enough.
