I don't see how pro sports can return without keeping the teams fully quarantined in a hotel or other such facility. It's highly unlikely that the coaches and athletes would accept being away from their families, though. No spectators is a given.

Okay, fine. If it spreads because of this, the NBA should be forced to close its doors and cancel all games not only this year, but until a vaccine is created. Oh, and the people who decided should be sued by every single person and family members of those who become infected. Might stop them if that becomes part of an agreement to restart if it's not 100% safe.

If we all wait for life to restart before an effective safe vaccine is available to all - we will all (well anbody 45- or ove) be dead before the virus has a chance to get us! NBA (as all sports players) are paid an awful amount of money, they also need to remain fit and a home gym probably isn't going to cut it - and your áverage'' player doesn't have a court or even half court at home.
If you read properly @smithinosaka - its individual sessions to start with. Once again, you wish to purely focus on the negatives.
