I don't need to forgive him, he didn't do anything personally to me, but to his family, his friends, his organization, the sport, he owes a lot and I don't think going on Oprah will be enough. Armstrong is a selfish, self-centered jerk, pure and simple, he conned everyone, people bought his books, bought into his causes and it was all a big fat lie. How he could ever live with himself and all that guilt is beyond me. I feel bad for his kids, look what they have to deal with and also publicly. This is beyond sad, he lost credibility with me a long time ago. I hope they sue the pants off him, I have absolutely Zero sympathy for that man.

That statement pretty much sums up the state of cycling that we have today and it is a very poor business model. =Why would you want to purge all your past champions just for publicity? Everyone in cycling knew there was a drug problem for years (most sports are the same way). Does putting Lance Armstrong in the media bring money back into cycling that much? -If it does, then what are they building on and what are they exactly building? To me this is a model not to conduct a sport and maybe it needs to disband and all the top management people (the cancer of cycling) need to leave.

I highly doubt it. I don't think anyone with enough sense would go near him or buy anything from him with a ten foot pole. I was watching all the main top media outlets and a lot of people that know Armstrong or grew up with him didn't have a whole lot of nice things to say about the guy, now that is really pathetic, when you have people that you grew up with and their only recollection about you is that you were always an ass, doesn't bring on a lot of empathy for the guy. He had (has) a big ego and wait and watch what happens next! The very people that always knew he was dopping that he sued and got money from, all that is coming back at him 10 fold! If he never started dopping, he still might have made 3rd, which is still in the top 3!!!! But that goes to show you, how greed can destroy the soul. I am quite sure the lawyers are in their offices right now writing lawsuits and interviewing anyone that was emotional hurt or damaged by this creep. Taking advantage of honest and sick people and real athletes that got by through sweat and tears and not by drugs! Usually, I hate lawyers, but in this situation, they have my full blessing.

Is jail not a possibility? He has lied to federal investigators and the sponsorship money he received was basically obtained by fraud. If Wesley Snipes can be made an example of with 3 years on misdemeanor tax charges I don't see why they can't.

To me the interview was a waste of time. It seems he has lied about "telling the truth", and continues to "lie about lying" !Definately delusional !

All of this still leaves a question unanswered. Was he the best cyclist in a field of cyclists were were (mostly all) doping, or was he simply the best at doping? We will probably never know.

I would say Lance Armstrong was the best performing of the cycling dopists. But there are alot of sport losers vying for the title of "best dopist" (Sammy Sosa, Mark McQuire, -and Lyle Alzado may have those 2 beat, maybe Jose Canseco is the "best dopist")

I think Armstrong was evasive, or begged off entirely, when Winfrey tried to connect his use to others who aided or abetted the performance-enhancing scheme on the USPS team.....
