As an Arsenal fan from North London for the past 48 years, this means nothing to me. It will only guarantee expensive season ticket prices and an expensive day out.
This translates as, we will use these millions to win the FA Cup every few years and our target audience are tourists from Asia and not the local working class fans from London.

I lived in Manor House for a year. Couldn’t believe the how the house prices have rocketed over 20 years in that area.
Soon there may not be any working class fans in the Gooner area if my old area of North London is anything to go by.

Yes Jim. Although Manor House is much more of a Spurs area as you will know. Highbury was lost to the middle classes some time ago. Something to do with Nick Hornby living there and the whole Emirates Stadium corporate show.
There is a big push on the regentrification of Tottenham. You know the story, making property investors and estate agents rich. Some parts of London where you wouldn't dare venture after dark let alone live there, have received the regentrification treatment. Highbury, Manor House, Walthamstow, even Kings Cross! Fortunately Finsbury Park is still a sh*thole...
