Arsenal were very good, could've had more and barely gave Chelsea a sniff.

“ Arsenal looks a genuine title contender after Chelsea win “

I’m still not convinced; yes, this might be “one of those years” (kind of like Leicester); but usually when a team/club doesn’t win the PM, CL (or any other major competition) for two decades, it takes them more than one good season to actually win something big; they’d have to be mentally/emotionally/physically stronger than usual and (at the same time) expect Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, etcetera, to loose points and not just the crucial ones; seriously, we’re (still) in November.

..

(see you in May)

Liverpool had a good game against Spurs and its first away win. Liverpool will benefit from the WC break.

Bravo to the Crystal Palace boys in blue, double plus good showing and Mr Vieras tactics did the trick, splendid!

I celebrated with an ice cool beer and a slice of cheese on toast ( mature English cheddar), topped with Hendersons ( a Worcestershire sauce type sauce, favoured by many Northern folk)

Gaffer Unai Emery is used to laying his hands on silverware. Aston Villa is a fresh challenge for the winner of several trophies. All the best to Aston Villa footballers and fans on multiple fronts in England and beyond.

rcch, Arsenal reached the Europa League Final in 2019 and the semi-final in 2021. We finished 2nd in the Premier League in 2016. Jesus and Zinchenko have won 4 Premier League titles. Arteta has won 2 Premier League titles as assistant to Guardiola.

Arteta has been in place for 3 seasons which is more than enough time to have a tilt at the title now.

Liverpool and Chelsea have already lost too many points. City should be favourites but can be impacted by their team suffering injuries at the World Cup. Haaland isn't playing in Qatar but he can't cross or pass to himself if they have key players fatigued.

Shock News.

Liverpool's owners Fenway Sports Group have put the club up for sale. FSG has owned the Merseyside club since purchasing it back in October 2010.

Not so surprising. FSG is looking to buy an NFL team, or NHL team here in the States.
