I don't care if you want to fly/hang it in your house but it should not be flown at official events. The Southern states were traitors who left the Union and lost the Civil War. That flag is not a Union flag and should not be flown anywhere in the U.S. Worship it at home if you want, racists.

I find that a strange statement. If you believe in "self determination of peoples", then leaving any union should be fine. Nothing to do with traitors.

Of course, having left, you have to get on with your neighbors. And if you deny rights to large parts of your population, and neighboring countries are not happy with that, then you have to face the consequences, including war.
