McGough is really taking it on the chin in this series. I wonder if Takatsu is going to keep sending him out for closing duties. I'm not sure I'd have the guts to.

I am happy for Jones. His tenure has been shaky since signing is $8 million deal in 2019 but finally good to see him win one for Orix. Go Orix!

Hotto Motto stadium is outdoors. Let's see what night baseball in late November, in single-digit temperatures, will be like. It may prevent the pitchers from being able to grip the balls properly, reducing their capability to throw high-spin pitches. That translates into flat pitches that get hit more, although the cold also keeps the balls from traveling as far. So expect to see more hits and fewer homeruns.
