“Congratulations!” Ayuma on your Gold.
And “Godspeed” on getting on safely after being so critical in the Land where such open criticism is seldom allowed to continue.

As far as I’m concerned, the judges have just grenaded their credibility. That run…I’ve been doing this for so long, so long. I know what a good run looks like. I know the ingredients of a winning run. I know when I see the best that’s ever been done in the half pipe. Try and tell me where you are deducting from this run. It’s unbelievable that this is happening. It’s a travesty to be completely honest with you. I am irate right now. -

Its Ayumu not Ayuma .
It helps to pay Attention to details.

I congratulate Ayumu Hirano on his snowboarding and Gold medal - however i find his high pride pushy arrogant and self righteous attitude towards the judges and his peers to be very disappointing.
Putting his life on the line to "wow" people and then throwing a temper tantrum is not impressive.
Iam truly surprised this Japanese Olympian is so unprofessional and disrespectful and he should appreciate that he's even invited to participate.
Not a good representation of the normal Japanese strive for excellence and respect but more akin to a rowdy arrogant American.

Correction @7:12am: should read “*Ayum*u” (no disrespect intended to Our Gold medal recipient. - Regards.

For Hirano's near perfect run with the lousy score, I'm guessing the breakdown of the judges' scores were something along the lines of:
Italy: 97.5
USA 98.2
China 57.2
Switzerland: 97.8
South Korea: 44.3
Norway: 99.4

WIns gold and still questions the judges.
Not wise of him taking the role of judging the judges.
He should have left the talking to his coach, he is not
a bright kid.

Well, that's strange. The judges came from Sweden, France, Canada, USA, Japan and Switzerland. USA gave the lowest score in run 2. This is how racism and discrimination is spread - through lies such as yours.
Hirano is right about strange judging methods. In the slopestyle, Max Parrot did a knee grab but this wasn't shown to the judges. Had they seen it, the gold would have gone to Su Yiming. Even the BBC said so.
But yeah, "putting one's life on the line" is a bit over the top. Soldiers who are shunted to the frontline by politicians who want to start a war but don't want to do the dirty work - now that's putting one's life on the line.

You do realize that snowboarders at this level have sustained life threatening injuries, including Ayumu who recently lacerated his kidney and liver in competition. Snowboarders have literally died doing far less than what Ayumu does in competition. Just curious, have you ever dropped in on a half pipe before?
The judging has been terrible and the judges deserve to be heavily scrutinized. His second run score was such a travesty that the color commentator (veteran of the sport) on the American broadcast lashed out at the judges live on-air. Just about everyone on social media (here in the States mind you) are calling for better judging and demanding that the American judge’s performance be reviewed. It was so bad it was embarrassing. And this is not the first time Ayumu has been screwed by the judges. Just because he is Japanese doesn’t mean he isn’t allowed to voice his opinion, especially when he obviously correct.

You guessed wrong. The lowest was the American judge.

Shows his ignorance.
