Takagi wins individual Olympic speedskating gold

Miho Takagi claimed a gold medal two days after losing one on the final turn when her older sister fell in team pursuit.

Leading in, that is a win for both Miho and Nana.

Yea, the TV kept showing that part where her sister fell. Already it was painful for her, physically and emotionally, the TV embarrassed her in front of the whole Japan World.

Well done…congratulations for the gold that you can add with your silver medals!

Well deserved, if her coach had arrived on time for the 1500 she might have gotten gold there too. On a side note, why do Japanese athletes dress so poorly, next to the Dutch and American girl, takagi looked like she was wearing grey garbage bags.
