Mafi went nowhere last night, he was trying hard but probably lost more meters than he gained. Ho hum start to another sadly diluted competition.

Absolute thrashing. Only positive for the Rebels (and J rugby actually) is that Amanaki Mafi was probably their best player. Other than that, nothing. Their young 10 Garden-Bachop had a shocker with the boot and didn't offer much in attack either (wasn't the only one though).

Loved the Blues, Pulu is going to make a huge difference. SR needs a strong Blues side ( I need a strong Blues side!)

Good first up win, away, but the Blues have been a team that fades mid season.
