"Why are many Japanese people so interested in what outsiders think of Japanese women?"

Emotional immaturity, as a national/cultural trait?

Yeah the backward baseball cap is kind of dorky - but given the size of his wallet I don't think the ladies mind it one bit.

Oh yea Neymar ... hot, hot, hot !

**Excuse me? I doubt Neymar could've stopped this Greek tragedy for Brazil vs Germany.

Btw I still think the Colombian soccer player should be punished for this incident, why wasnt he?**

No way could he and I think he's probably "happy" he had a reason not to be on the pitch at the time of slaughter. He's still the golden boy. Had he played, I don't think he would be.

Because the player really wasn't any rougher than anyone else on the pitch. It was a sad case of "bad place, bad contact" but it really wasn't an over the top play. Let's be honest, the injury really isn't "that" bad if he can fly to Japan, scoop up tons of money and play the superstar game.

As for the Japanese girl question, nicely played. Honestly, why is Japan hung up on what foreigner thinks of them? It just shows the insecurity.

Yes Rocket, he is doing ok. Except for the cap on backwards.

Jeez, talk about some jealous people on the comments. The guy came to sign a sponsorship deal and enjoy whatever short time he has in Japan before the season starts again. He's 22, and probably nowhere at his peak, yet plays in one of the best teams in the world, and scored 4 goals in 5 games in the World Cup before that dreadful injury. I say he is doing just fine.

Why are many Japanese people so interested in what outsiders think of Japanese women? The question reminds me of those irritating people who invite you round for dinner and ask what you think of their new conservatory or garden gnomes. What are you supposed to say? I thought I'd touched down in a trout farm? As he's a professional footballer playing for one of the biggest club sides in the world, surely a question about Japanese football would be more useful?

maybe he was just overhyped and therefore it felt like he didn't live up to expectations. 2 goals each against weaker teams and a couple of really dirty fouls felt a bit weak.

Neymar was a bit of a failure at the WC

If scoring 4 goals in 5 games at the World Cup is a failure, I'd like to be one.

Neymar was a bit of a failure at the WC. and as an aside, the baseball cap on backwards look really is one of my pet hates.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Uh, nothing against Neymar, but shouldn't this be in the entertainment section instead of the sports section?

when asked if he liked Japanese women, replying diplomatically: “Japanese ladies are very pretty. But I’m Brazilian so I think I prefer women with curves. Nice

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Asked if he like Japanese women like if that the only thing to see and do in Japan. I loved his reply though!!!

Btw I still think the Colombian soccer player should be punished for this incident, why wasnt he?

Because it would be ludicrous to do so. The rough tactics in that game were instigated by Brazil. It was the game with the most fouls in the tournament, second was Brazil's previous game. Fernandinho was employed to kick James Rodriguez out of the game. The referee did nothing - then when Colombia give some in return Neymar was unlucky. Can't punish him just because its Neymar.

Neymar really isn't that good, he hasn't made his mark at all at Barca. And anyway Real would have the strongest attacking lineup now with Ronaldo, Bale and Rodriguez

Without their talisman, who had scored four goals in the tournament, Brazil suffered their most humiliating defeat ever when they were pulverised 7-1 by eventual champions Germany in the semi-final.

Excuse me? I doubt Neymar could've stopped this Greek tragedy for Brazil vs Germany.

Pathetic, isn't it...?

Pin-up? Is that what they call soccer players in Japan these days?
