Japan, Brazil, Russia, U.S. advance at volleyball worlds

I thought the Koreans were going to win the first set when they were leading 22-20. I saw both teams get free points from the judge. For example, the Koreans block a Japanese attack ( the ball hits the ground on the Japanese side right in front of the net, and the Koreans celebrate the point for about 1 second until the judge gives the point to Japan. Another time a Korean player touches the ball on a Japanese spike that goes out but Korea gets the point. That judge needs to be fired.

I'm afraid the Japanese are going to get a whipping by that giant alien Gamova and the rest of the Russians tomorrow. Unless the judge gves Japan a bunch of free points, LOL.

I can't believe China beat Poland 3-0. I can believe, however, that Turkey beat Peru 3-0.

Japan among the 4 top ones? You kidding, but then when you review the pool where J-Team was placed, something very funny comes to your eyes: all the strong teams are on the other pool. Brazil, Italy, USA and Cuba fought for the 2 other semi berths, while Japan had to battle against real powers Russia and China. Was it orchestrated by J-officials and $Fivb$? It seems so...

Because you don't like it that the Japanese like volleyball you hope Russia will destroy them tonight? This is truly, madly....well how could I call it? Dumb?

I was hoping the Japanese, after handing the Russians their asses in the 3rd set, would become the first team in this World Championship to take 2 sets from them, but the Russians handed the Japanese their asses in the 4th set to take the match. I guess it's up to the Brazilians to stop the Russians. The Japanese will give the Brazilians a good practice session on Saturday.
