Breakdancing is still a thing?

I recognise the skill and athleticism in breakdancing but its not a sport. The Olympics becomes more irrelevant every time. Whats next? Chess? Standing on one leg?

For our resident artist (zichi) let it be known that art (painting, architecture, sculpture, and music) were part of the Olympics from 1912 to 1948.

Only dropped because artists were considered ‘professionals’ while Olympic athletes were ‘amateurs.’ Maybe it’s time to bring art back? Along with speed eating.

Yet another reason to cancel the Olympics this time, next time, and forever and for always. They are a joke with no laughter.

They should add more sports like this and ditch all the ones like kayaking and bobsleigh where it costs something stupid like 50 million USD for a stadium that noone will use.

Speed eating as an Olympic sport must be next!

Everything has its use-by date.

The Olympic Games had its day and now it has decayed into corruption and farce.

Poor old squash.

Broadcasting companies realizing that less and less people want to watch Olympics, so they try to add ‘youth sports’, but they are still 30 years behind.

Look I love me some school funk & hip hop & the dancers are awesome, but in the Olympics......this is just absurd.

Which sadly is what the Olympics have become....ABSURD!

That leads us directly to one-finger speed typing of smartphone messages...lol

Electric Boogaloo

Surfing?Just tell me how athletes are going to be able to surf in Paris? And some shores around France may not be fit for that.

Time to bring back Tug of War and poetry as Olympic events.

Truly, the Games have jumped the shark. Probably the oldies in the IOC think this will attract ‘the kidz’ and therefore continue the money train.

Oh I know, how about adding ballroom dancing as a sport, too? Yeah yeah, no wait! Doesn't 'Dancing With the Stars' handle that jive? Oh, I know, slamdancing! Let's see how national teams compete in moshing contests. Put on some Ramones and see which national moshes the best.

Or placing teen couple 'athletes' in 'prom dance' competitions? Mud wrestling? What else?

Does this sound ridiculous or what? Oh man, I thought I've seen everything.
