The game is already an upset. Canada should have put the Swiss away before the 3rd period ended.

Canada going the Salt Lake route I see. They should be ready for the States on Sunday

As for the Swiss, they worked the dreaded trap to their advantage and played more of a Canadian game than Team Canada. Certainly helps when you're coach is Canadian and a few of your players were born there too :) Have to mention Hiller, he made some unbelievable saves to keep his team in it.

Mid 90's New Jersey Devils would be proud of this performance.

A win is a win. Anyways, I am very interested in knowing whether the Canada-U.S.A. game will be shown in Japan. Plus, when will it take place??

Best I could do to follow this game was on Twitter, no live feeds online or even radio that I could find. Meanwhile NHK was replaying the Japan-China curling. That's not meant to bash NHK, it is the same in every country, and actually NHK has been pretty good at showing full events and keeping the studio time to a minimum.

But what needs to happen is for the IOC to get its act together. Denying people access to events they want to watch in order to protect an out-of-date business model of selling national broadcast rights is ridiculous. The technology is there, so figure out how to use it and join the 21st century.

A bit too close for comfort for the Canadians, and hopefully this will rattle them into getting their acts together for the next game. At least they won in the end. As for the Swiss -- good for them!

GJDailleult: You should've tried NHK BS1. They had it going at around the time men's ice skating was on.

“It’s probably not a bad thing for us to go through that kind of desperation and tight hockey like that,” Crosby said, “because it’s not going to get any easier as we move on here.”

No kidding but next time try going for this desperation against a team that should offer a challenge like the Russians or the States.

Didn't see the game but perhaps took the Swiss too easily? Hopefully this does light a fire under their butts and they come out hitting against the U.S. which will be on BS1 Monday morning.

unfortunately Swiss have no chances this time, the group where they are is very strong....

Too close for comfort. Crosby's a savior. Hats off to Hiller... 45 saves.

atdhe.net is pretty good for live streaming. Not perfect but better than watching tiddlywinks on NHK

Canada has complete team and front line with Thorton, Healy and Marleau that are top ten scorers in NHL and plays on the same team with the Sharks. If you also include Crosby, this is just a practice warm-up. You haven't seen nothing yet. If Canada plays up to the potential, they will win the gold medal.

I saw the Canada vs. Czech game in Nagano. That was enough stress. I'm glad that I missed this one. (although the result this time is more to my liking).
