The Canadians have nothing for which to redeem themselves. It’s far more atrocious form on the part of the US President to suggest that a sovereign nation, which has been a good neighbor and ally, should somehow be fair game to be annexed by the US. That’s what the Canadian fans were booing and what independence-respecting, intelligent person could blame them?

Not true. Fans in Montreal have booed the U.S. anthem many times in the past -- well before Trump's return to the White House.

I would say bring on some physical stuff and a bit of contact in the final - but last time I voiced that opinion I was told "ice hockey should never be about the rough stuff" - or words to that effect. Won't make that mistake again!
