Chelsea fires Mourinho over discord with players

Sheer stupidity. The players should have been told, perform or be sold in January.

I'll actually miss him. I have no time for the club or his style of football but he was quite funny in press conferences. These conferences went from the sublime to the ridiculous after he completely lost the plot a few months ago.

I'm disappointed for Mourinho. He's been brilliant, but this has been a disaster for him. Maybe he got too close and the players were told some home truths they couldn't accept.

It's almost imploded in front of our eyes. It was astonishing the way his players capitulated against Leicester. I saw players that weren't really giving everything. The respect had gone, and it's easier to change the manager than it is 22 players.

It not 100% mourinho fault... but the "special one" no more

He has a track record of going to a new team, winning, then losing. It's happened everywhere he's been the head man.
