No word about how the Samurai Blue are out? I guess with China beating NK SK is the group winner so far.

China are now scheduled to face off against Japan on Sunday.

This will be good. Japan is desperate for a win.

The Japanese men's team fought to a 1-1 with SK last night.

Yubaru: Oh, I know that very well. Followed the game on Yahoo! sports, checking in from time to time until it ended. My point was there is not a single word about it on this site, and not much of a peep in the general media, either.

smithinjapan: Having watched that game last night, the Japanese got outplayed for most of the match and were lucky the Koreans weren't putting a lot more pressure than they probably should have. Can't wait for the aftermath of the Chinese match.

smith, I don't think so. I checked the top ten sports articles ranking on yahoo, and 4 out of 10 articles are about the game. http://news.yahoo.co.jp/ranking/comment/rate?ty=t&c=c_spo

I think the north Korean loss was entirely down to interference from the Great US Oppressor and their Running dog lackeys, Japan.....

kickboard: I KNOW it was mentioned on Yahoo! Did you miss the part where I was keeping track of the game on there? So, needless to say there would be articles, and the next morning I DID see one headline. Beyond that though, I said, "here is not a single word about it on this site, and not much of a peep in the general media, either".

Now, compare that with even the women's 2-0 loss to North Korea, which is still listed as one of the most popular threads (or was yesterday, anyway). Do you see what I'm saying? It was a dismal appearance by the 'mighty' Samurai, so it's hardly getting any coverage. It was not an actual question, it was rhetorical.
