China wins, Russia beats Japan at women's volleyball World Cup

I'm stunned that the J-Women's team lost here at home. But, then again, they're not playing their usual volleyball pansies opponents like Sri Lanka or Tonga: they have REAL competition this time `round (is it just me, or does the J-Women's volleyball team remind anyone else of the Kameda brothers, and their "title 'defenses'" in Japan? Maybe its just me).

Jason: The J-women used to do very well (the men less so, but better than now) in volleyball. Recently, however, they obviously are not very good at all. So, it's not really like the Kameda brothers (or father) -- they were NEVER good but have always cheated and felt entitled to wins, and complain when called up for their cheating, etc.
