A bit of a dodgy course, but great entertainment. Well done to Clarke for an emotional win, and to Van Aert for a heroic effort rewarded with him staying in yellow. Most of his Jumbo team were off helping Roglic, who went down and may have lost too much time to Pogacar to be out of GC already. A Roglic who has to gamble very hard may be the best (only?) way to crack Pogacar in a mountain stage, so it may mean more entertainment to come.

I saw a fellow from EF Education pulling for the Pog on two separate occasion on the cobblestones while two of his teams mates were in A breakaway 4 minutes ahead. When he finished pulling for the Pog his close it down to three minutes. The EF rider did this twice. WTF is that about ??
